A recent study shows that more than 50% of employees have already cancelled their summer holidays. There are a couple of reasons as to why people are cancelling their trips, firstly because of money worries and secondly because of the fact that they feel they might lose hteir job if they tale too much time off.

But going on holiday and having a break is not only good for you but it is also good for your employees for a few reasons which are mentioned below:
1) By working all year round and not taking a holiday you may begin to get exhausted and this will affect your work. You will just get sick and tired because you will have nothing to look forwards too and you are more likely to get fired for that reason.
2) Having a break will definatley help you clear your mind and if your boss does sack you then atleast you can say that you have a clear mind and will find another job easily.
3) If you have a family they may start to get fed up with you working 24/7 and not spending any time with them, so not taking time off work could actually start to affect your personal life.
There are a vast amount of further reason as to why you should take a break and if you really feel your boss will sack you then maybe you are not in the right job.
