What is the reason for going on holiday?
Seriously, this is actually quite a difficult question for people to answer. Some people don't even think about the answer, and it even takes them a while to say something. The other answer, that is somewhat annoying is the one that goes something like "Because we wanted to"! So this means nothing, when you have no real reason, and you just have to because it is there, what is the point. What ever the reason is, there definitely is one, people just don't let us know?
I came across some people who just wanted the time off work, and mumbled incessantly. Now I can actually understand this answer, although I am not sure why people feel like this. If you don't enjoy your work, or if it doesn't give you what you need, then get a new one, unless of course it pays well, in which case keep it!
However, we can just get away from our jobs whenever we want, and most of us do every weekend, so what’s the problem? There was a very small bunch of people that did say something that I agreed with and understood, and it was that meeting new people and new cultures was an amazing experience. Finally an answer that sounded like they actually knew what they were doing, and why they wanted to go. I can understand that some people would be willing to spend money to experience a new way of life.

There was something that quite a few people said that i just didn't quite understand "We haven't got anything else to do"! To these people I had to hold back some lecturing and general anger. What are you talking about, there is nothing better to do, sorry you have lost me! Great another one of those annoying answers, you know the one that means nothing to anyone.
But really, do we NEED a reason to go on holiday? No of course you don’t, it’s your money, and you deserve to spend it how you see fit. And Don't let people say anything different to you.
For Caribbean holidays, Maldives holidays, Sri Lanka holidays, maybe you should visit a tour operator!
